Super-foods are one of the hottest topics around right now as many high profile people like Oprah Winfrey have identified that there is money to be made by promoting them. Our interest is principally to do with their beneficial effects in terms of health. The most rigorous research confirms that the major cause of disease is diet related. Get the diet right and the body is able to function as it was intended. It is a bit like putting the wrong fuel in a car – you won’t get very far.

Get the fuel right and the body can begin to do some amazing things. The right food is simply food that has had the minimum of processing – in other words we eat it close to its natural state. That way the nutritional content is at its highest.
Organically grown food is good, food you grow yourself is best but don’t be under any illusion the food we get today from our supermarkets is nutritioanlly empty and often highly contaminated with chemicals from both the air/rain and from chemicals deliberately sprayed onto the produce.
