hi Mark thank you for that observation. I’m not aware of the individual circumstances but know that where ever there is money involved there is potential for greed and corruption. I’m advocating personal responsibility with diet and specific foods which we’ve seen great benefits for SC – in fact I detest pharmaceutical drugs and what they can do in terms of harming health. What is your area of activity in this area?

I would suggest anyone thinking of getting involved with R. Swift do some due diligence and take a look at what transpired at XKEM under his watch and the current bankruptcy documents and rulings by the judge pertaining to his alleged actions. Just my opinion ,

I wish people are more aware of the Sickle cell disease. Some Dr’s do not seem to know much except to state that a number of sicklers sre dependent on morphine or some form of dependency. A number of those with the trait should be tested and learn to know their bodies.
As a sickler I’ve learnt to know what’s going on within me (know one would know my body better than myself).
On a number of occassions I’ve learnt to argue with the Dr’s who state I’m going through a crisis when I knew fully well that I wasn’t going through one. It took almost 6 months or more to find out that I had gall-stones. All because I went into emergency one night and it was a different Dr. on call. At last he stated my symptons sounded like I had stones. He requested for an ultra sound and voila the stones were captured on screen.
Sicklers should keep a diary and write when certain things occur even when they are going through a crisis. We need to educate ourselves on this issue.
